Our Mission is to provide sound financial advice to older veterans and their families.

About Us
At Senior Security Veterans Benefits, we strive to ease the hassle of seeking out Veterans Administration for assistance that is rightfully due to our countries Veterans. There is a little known source of additional funding for the costs of residing in an assisted living center called the Aid and Attendance benefit.

Senior Security Veterans Benefits is focused on enabling Senior Citizens to safeguard and preserve assets for their current and future medical care needs. Furthermore, we help our clients develop a plan to secure a lasting financial legacy for future generations. Our Certified Senior Advisor has helped hundreds of families and conducted countless programs on the subjects of veteran’s benefits, Medicare/Medicaid, social security, annuities, and asset preservation. Our goal is for every senior we serve to fully recognize, strategically develop, and secure their personal legacy.

Mission
Senior Security Veterans Benefits provides sound financial advice to older veterans and their family members who may currently or in the near future, need assistance in an assisted-living community. We will uphold all of your expectations of integrity, honesty and commitment. We affirm and promise that we will only represent your best interests, not those of any financial company or product.

What Are The Benefits?
This most important benefit is overlooked by many families with veterans or surviving spouses who need additional funding to help care for ailing parents or loved ones. This is a "pension benefit" and is not dependent upon service-related injuries for compensation.

Veteran’s benefits are available to veterans, their surviving spouses or both:
A Veteran is eligible for up to $1,519 per month, while a surviving spouse is eligible for up to $976 per month. A couple is eligible for up to $1,801 per month The service requirement is that the veteran must have served 1 day during an active war and had no less than 90 days service. For the surviving spouse benefits, the spouse must still have been married to the veteran when he or she passed. There is a physical and/or medical need criteria as well as income and assets guidelines. Our firms Certified Senior Advisor could possibly help reposition the Veteran’s assets in order for them to qualify.

How It Works
It is hard to speculate on what you will experience while filing for the Aid & Attendance Special Pension. Each case is unique and carries its own set of challenges. One thing you can expect is that it will take between 4-6 months for your application to be processed. Fortunately, once the application is approved, the pension is paid retroactively to the first day of the month after the VA received the application. For instance, if the VA received the application in February and does not formally approve it until August, payment is retroactive from August back to March 1st, the month after receipt.

When individuals call us I will do an immediate assessment over the phone to evaluate their eligibility for possible Aid and Attendance benefit from the Veterans Administration. We work with your family to make sure that if you are entitled to any benefits, you will receive them.
